Common questions
Is it really free for business owners?
Yes, permanently. Business owners get full access to every feature — tasks, documents, compliance tracker, expense logging, AML checklist, mobile app — at no cost. This is not a trial or a limited free tier. CSweetly is free for business owners.
How does my accountant connect to my account?
Your accountant adds you to their CSweetly portal and sends you a sign-up link. Once you register, your accounts are connected and your accountant can see your compliance position, send tasks, and manage documents on your behalf.
Do I need an accountant to use CSweetly?
No. You can sign up and use CSweetly independently to track your own compliance obligations, documents and expenses. Connecting an accountant unlocks the collaborative features and the accountant portal.
How does accountant billing work?
Accountants pay a monthly fee based on the number of clients they actively manage on CSweetly. Pricing is currently being finalised — get in touch to discuss early adopter rates.
Is CSweetly only for Ireland?
Yes. CSweetly is built specifically around Irish compliance obligations — VAT, CRO filings, Revenue deadlines, AML requirements under Irish law. It is designed for businesses operating under Irish jurisdiction.
Is my data secure?
Yes. CSweetly is built on Supabase with EU data residency, is GDPR compliant, and all data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
What if I want to use CSweetly without my accountant knowing?
That is completely fine. Your account is private by default. You only share data with your accountant when you choose to connect them.
